Is the Amero Coming Soon?

After listening to coast to coast last night and hearing a number of people speak about the coming of the Amero, I was fascinated about this possibility.  What would happen if IT happens.  Well the markets would have to adjust, and the dollar will be replaced by the Amero.  Whew!  The Amero would merge the financial currency of Canada, Mexico, and the United States.  The Canadian dollar is by and by about the same value of the US dollar, but the peso, in currently trouble-ridden Mexico, is sure to bring the value of the aforementioned currencies down.   We saw this happen with the German Mark when the Berlin wall was taken down.   The west German Mark was devalued and it did take some time to pick back up again.

The real question at hand is if the American people will go for the Amero.  Some say they will if unemployment reaches really high levels, say 30 percent.  If Americans are beaten down by the current financial crisis.  It's really hard to say at this point if the Ameros will really be acceptable by the American people.   Currency exchanges will be forever changed, and it will be Americas job to police the Mexican economy, to make sure it becomes prosperous.

Going back to 2005.   The talk revolved around a process proposed and in the works. AN introduction of a Amero is an integral aspect of a process of creating a North American Union, much like a European Union. This process is being undertaken through a implementation of a Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America (SPP), which was signed by a leaders of a three North American governments in March of 2005. This agreement is orchestrating a bureaucratic “harmonization” among a three North America nations to pave a way for a North American Community, akin to a previous European Community, and ultimately, a North American Union.
